1.What we collect
We collect information that you provide directly:
- Account details — name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
- Inquiry & reservation details — vehicle of interest, destination port, message.
- Consignee & remitter info — shipping address, bank name & SWIFT for cross-border wires.
- Payment proof you upload to confirm a wire transfer.
We also collect technical data automatically (IP address, browser, device type, pages visited) and a cookie identifier — see our cookies policy.
2.How we use your data
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
- To create reservations, invoices, and Bill-of-Lading documents.
- To verify payment proof against your remitter info on file (anti-fraud / AML).
- To send transactional emails (verification, inquiry receipts, shipment updates).
- To improve the site — aggregate analytics, A/B tests, search ranking.
- To meet legal obligations (export controls, sanctions screening, tax records).
4.How long we keep it
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Transaction records (invoices, BLs, payment proofs) are kept for at least 7 years to comply with export, tax, and AML rules. Marketing data is purged within 24 months of your last activity.
5.Your rights
- Request a copy of your personal data.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Request deletion (subject to retention obligations above).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.
6.Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Data in transit uses TLS. Production databases are access-restricted and encrypted at rest. We will notify affected users without undue delay if a breach materially impacts their rights.
